Change management involves all projects, activities, measures and duties that effect wide-reaching changes in a business. As a change manager you will support and guide your company through processes such as pursuing new strategies, changing developed strategies, updating technical and organisational systems, improving processes and procedures or developing the skills and expertise of employees.
As a project manager you will lead, organise, plan and negotiate with your clients and team members. You make sure that projects run according to plan and on budget, always communicating with confidence and reason to achieve your targets. You may oversee product launches, campaigns, internal process changes or other projects, and act as a point of contact for all parties involved. You will take on the role of mediator, commander and negotiator to deliver projects on time and achieve goals.
Consultants are experts at analysing the situation, assessing the needs and targets of clients and offering suitable advice. You will service companies in various industries, guiding them on how to introduce change, position themselves in the market, improve their management or make decisions when it comes to investments. If you are employed in a consultancy firm, you will be required to keep the goals of your employer in mind, while ensuring that your client makes the right decisions.
